POST by LEIKY: My Mighty Mum

Leiky and Fran at Niagara Falls

Hello my name is Leiki. I am 12 years old. I’m going to tell you a little bit about my life.

One day my family and I went to church. Our church is really big and I like it. Everyone sings and it is wonderful. After church, we all went back home and my dad was there, and he was really mad because my mum didn’t tell him we were going to church.

My dad grabbed a metal bar and began to beat my mum again, but my brother got in the way and told my dad that if he kept on hitting her, he would call the Police and lock my dad away.

My dad left our house in a really mad state. He went to his other wife’s house, and my mum went to my aunt’s house.

My mum stayed with my aunt for a week and my mum called us by cell phone and told my brother not to worry about her. My mum was fine but said that she was going to call the Police about my dad and his abusiveness.

My dad and mum ended up separating. Now my mum is following God’s path for her. Even before this final problem with my dad, my mum suffered a lot of abuse from my father.

If you would like to hear more stories about my life, please send me a note of encouragement.

POST by JAIRITO: Feuding Family

Jairito and Leiky

Hello, my name is Jairito and I want to share with you a story about my friend, Leiky.

Leiky’s dad and his mum do not get along very well. One day, Leiky’s mum went to church with all of his brothers and sisters. Leiky thought that the church was beautiful. When they got home, his dad was there and he was very mad because he did not know where his mum and family had been.

His dad was so mad that he grabbed an iron bar and hit his mum on the hand really hard with it. His mum then went into the living room and started to cry. She screamed at his dad, and when the dad walked into the room is mum was in, he was really mad and said to her “ If you keep on crying, I am going to hit you and kill you.”

She couldn’t stop crying or screaming, so the dad was going to hit her, but then his sister got in the way and yelled “If you hit her, I am going to call the police!”  In the end he did not hit her but they did get a divorce. Leiky’s dad has done terrible things to his mother.

POST by LEIKY: Padres and Prison

Hello my name is Leikis. I would like to tell you a little story about my friend Jairito.

Well, my friend’s life was very difficult. His Dad and his Mum did not get on very well because they were always fighting. So, His Mum kicked His Dad out of the house and Jairito’s Dad called his Grandmother and his Grandmother took His Dad in to her house.

My friend Jairito and his brothers were all crying, but the time went by and their Dad came back to the house and started to fight with Jairito's uncle, because he wanted to hurt Jairito’s Mum.

His brothers grabbed their Dad, but then their Dad decided to leave and the Police came to look for their Dad and they grabbed him and took him to jail. When Jairito’s Dad got out of prison, his mother went to go find him and she said "come home please" and he said to the her "yes, ok" and they lived happily forever.

Thanks to God they didn’t fight again.
